Description

1.Evaluation of rice germplasm in order to identify new salt tolerant accessions among worldwide japonica rice cultivars through

  • Identification of new salt tolerant accessions in worldwide japonica rice cultivars
  • Identification of loci in the rice genome involved in conferring salt tolerance
  • Identification of the allelic diversity in candidate genes through bioinformatic analyses and allele mining

2.The information obtained in this WP will be used for the development of WP3 and WP4.
